Baby Squirrel turns 2 weeks

This is how we ended...sprawled out and with a binki...she did great but was very DONE

Brayden's diving board debut!

Brayden is the most cautious fearful child until it comes to water. He is soooo daring and BRAVE!! He will go down a huge fast slide solo, jump off the side of the pool and now is jumping off the diving board. He has been a solo swimmer since March with a life jacket and don't you try to hold him. He's just so stinkin smart and independent!!!

August 19th

It was HOT and we went to the farm pool to swim...NOT a good idea for me. Couldn't get in and it was sooo hot even in the shade. The boys swam for 3+ hours!! I was so exhausted at the end. The sweet baby girl was ZONKED the whole time!!

His eyes were sooooooooo red b/c he goes under constantly and doesn't close his eyes!!

She slept the WHOLE time...even when I tried waking her up

Not happy with my bow selections...I'm broke and have realized I don't have as many as I need (even if you guys would disagree!!)

August 18th

Sydney is 2 weeks old today and had her 2 week check up!

9 lb 5 oz (give or take...she wouldn't stop moving for the scale to stop)

20 3/4 inches

head circum.= 14.5 inches

After the dr. appt we headed to Riverfront and let Brayden play in the sprinkler while mommy & Sydney stayed in the shade. We didn't stay long b/c mommy forgot the sunscreen!!This is what she did the whole 30 minutes!

August 17th

I asked him to go throw away his pudding cup and he came back like this...you think he tried his hardest to get the very last of whatever was left??! *the eyes are like that from the flash! silly kid!*

Sydney's "due date"

I never knew if her due date was the 10th or 11th, but the 11th is the 1st one they gave me, but at the end, they were going off the 10th. Here's my girl at exactly 1 week!! :)
